New Web Presence for Worldwide Mobility Company

The Client

Vipre Ltd. is a world leader in the development and implementation of soft measures. With offices in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands, Vipre solves people transportation problems for clients including office and factory based companies, service providers, hospitals, shopping centers, airports, local authorities, town planners and property developers. Vipre's priority is to work with clients to resolve their transportation issues, increase profits, and lower costs.

Background

The company offers clients a wide range of transportation solutions but presenting them in an organized, accessible and streamlined manner on their website was a challenge. They also wished to keep their site content fresh and required a content management solution that would enable regular updates. Recently the company transformed its corporate identity and wanted to ensure consistency across all mediums, including the corporate website. Vipre also faced the problem of synchronizing content for its different language sites while allowing for customization from region to region.

The Solution

In February 2005 Vipre contacted Green Island Interactive to redesign their corporate web presence. From the beginning Vipre and Green Island agreed on priorities for the new site. A detailed analysis of the current site and all corporate documentation was conducted. What followed was a plan to establish a website that would:

  • Be better organized, concise and streamlined
  • Incorporate their new logo, color scheme and graphics
  • Create consistency between regions regardless of language
  • Allow for future site expansion
  • Emphasize Vipre's core offerings
  • Provide multiple paths to reach the content, depending on the users needs

The Result

Although all of Vipre's core offerings are detailed on the site, visitors can quickly and easily find information on the services specific to their needs. The site has pre-defined areas that accommodate regular updates, regardless of how often they are altered resulting in up to date information and fresh content. The content and layout of the company's foreign language sites have been synchronized, and the addition of other languages in future has been facilitated. Initial feedback from both Vipre staff and clients was very positive.
