Green Island Presents Fundamentals of Online Marketing to Students at Manhattanville College

(November 05, 2006) Margaret Blake, Director of Business Development & Marketing at Green Island Interactive, presented the Fundamentals of Online Marketing to a group of marketing students at Manhattanville College, New York. During the session Margaret covered many topics including: search engine optimization, search engine registration, pay-per-click advertising, pay-per-call advertising, e-mail and e-newsletter campaign management, viral marketing, spam laws and much more.

"The internet offers marketers and business owners an array of opportunities to promote their business and online marketing provides the tools. How they are used is what really matters. Having a comprehensive online marketing plan that successfully integrates with off-line (traditional) marketing activities ensures success. We have worked with a number of clients to utilize the internet and online marketing techniques to drive traffic to their site and increase sales. It was wonderful meeting the students at Manhattanville College, some of whom are in business and some who plan to start their own business. I hope they got out of it as much as I did".
